Burlington,
I have been searching and can't find the part number for this. You open your trunk and the string on either side pulls up the cover which unvails everything in your trunk. Those strings are attached at the top with little pin clips, both of mine are broken. There are the little black cylinder ones. Anyone know the part number or somewhere I can get them other then dealer?

You would be surprise what obscure items can be found at the dealer (of course it has to be ordered), lucky for us that auto makers use practically the same parts on several different cars throughout a lot of different model years.

I have purchased the "hood heat shield clips" as recently as last year, along with various other "clips" for different locations.

I need this hook/bolt for the hatch

I'm also looking for this part. I looked up online and it says CLIP,TRIM (BEIGE . My car is gray, so I would like to have the gray or black I really don't care but not the beige one. Any other suggestions?

Hello. Found the clip online "Mitsubishi Parts" | Online Parts & Accessories Catalog and bought it along with some other stuff I needed to fix. Part number is MR189485. It's amazing you can find all sorts of parts online including all kind of clips, bolts, etc. Defiant I found a webpage that also sells talon specific parts you might want to check it out. Their OEM catalog is not 100% complete but it's worth looking and some parts are expensive here is the link https://www.dodgeparts.com/oe_parts_catalog.html

I gave up on those damn things after destroying a set a year for the first couple years I owned my 2g.
A nice fat screw resides in the holes on each side now for years. :D
