[RESOLVED] Need a Valve Spring Compressor help!

Do anyone of you know if there's any valve spring compressor made for our DSM that I can purchase? I've spent countless hours reading the threads/forums, only to locate all homemade compressor which I have no issue however I would like to have the right tools and save time. Anyone found any?

Yes, I got one that works awesome... I will see if I can figure out where I got it. If not I'll post a picture tonight. I think it was around 40 or 50 dollars and it is a quality piece.

If you have the head off the car there is no reason not to use the "homemade" tool. Its a socket welded to a c clamp. It does wonders.

and if you have the head off...why not spend the 50 bucks on this tool?

this spring compressor looks 100x easier than the one we have in our Chrysler shop...that tool was a bi*** and took forever

I would do the "homemade" valve spring compressor however I do not have the welding machine or any tools to cut the socket. It will cost me hundreds of dollar to get the equipment to do the homemade.

I will go with the OTC 4572 Large Valve Spring Compressor 1-3/8x5-5/8.

I know this thread is old but very helpful. I tried to make the homemade tool today went to the welding shop and they wanted 65.00 just to weld the socket onto the clamp. I said forget that and drove to summitt racing and paid 50.00 bucks for the OTC Tools 4572 this thing works like a charm
