ok i want an ipod cable, just a couple questions. what does it look like, how does it hook up, about how much are they, are they universal or do i need one specific to my head unit

go to alpine.com they have what you want that way you can control your ipod through the deck and dont have to touch or look at your ipod, unless you want one that just plays it threw the avi (yellow and red wire)

Or if the stereo you have doesn't have a ipod connect on it you can go old school and hook up an FM modulator. Then just get a wire from radio shack that has a 3.5 mm headphone jack on one side and a right and left RCA plug on the other side.

Then you connect the RCA wires to the FM modulator and plug the headphone jack into the IPOD headphone output.
