I searched, and I can't figure it out. It seems to be an electrical product of some ECU output, but what is the ECU getting it's info from? I just picked-up a POS 92 GST, and I'm trying to re-stock it, so I can mess it up myself:thumb: I'm trying to figure-out the factory engineering.
Thanks responders:confused:

It uses a calculation based on the g/rev load calculated from the mass air sensor. It and g/rev have no relevance to boost pressure whatsoever. It's just a good guess, and all that gauge is good for is converting it into a knock sensor.

Electrically, it connects to an output from the ECU.

See page 14-57 of the 1G Technical Manual. (Read the rest of it while your at it)

The links to this and the rest of the factory manual is in the DSM FAQ's part of the Tech Menu.
