As some of you know I am currently stuck in the middle of the ultimate budget hx-35 build. I need to get a t-3 manifold as I can not find a used exhaust housing to bolt to the stock manifold that is cheap enough. Now my question to you all is if I was to buy a t3 manifold that was set up for an external wastegate and I plan on running internal (initially) would there be any way to block that off or bypass it somehow until I do get an external gate (if i decide to go that route)? (sorry if this is a dumb question, this is my first build ever and i'm still learning the ropes).

looks like 46mm. Is this a size i should be able to find pretty easy? Like I said I am completely new at building turbo motors, but I'm doing the best i can.

Yes there are block off plates that bolt right to the manifold. Just make sure to use a gasket on it, just use the wastegate's gasket, or you'll have a light ticking leak that will turn things black around it and sound annoying

Alright guys thanks, thats the kind of good news I need right about now.

sorry to bring this back up, but the only thing I can find to block off a wastegate is 2 bolt and i need a 4 bolt. If anybody knows where I can get a 4 bolt block off flange it would help alot. I have been searching all day.

not sure where to find one, but you could probably take a gasket to a welding/ fabrication shop and have them make you one using it as a pattern. just tell them exactly what your doing. They should make it out of 3/8 steel. should be fairly cheep. $20 - $50
