hey guys, I want to buy new exhaust manifold nuts and washers when I replace my gasket, the sizes look different between the top and bottom but i heard they all are 13mm? I jes want to be sure I don't buy 9 13mm nuts and then cant put them all on and end up having to wait the next day for the store to open...

The top and bottom are the same. It's the two on the ends that you gotta worry about. They are one size bigger.

last time i checked all of mine (except the two ends) were 12's and the ends were 14's i believe.

thanks so its 7- 12mm and 2-14mm??
No you guys are referring to what size tool to use when you are needing thread size.
On 1g cars all the studs and nuts are M8x1.25
on 2g cars you have
7- M8x1.25 studs with nuts
and 2-m10x1.25 studs with nuts

Then the replacment M8x1.25 buts end up using 13mm wrench as the mitsu nuts use a 12mm wrench or 14mm wrench for the outside 2.

What you want to get is regular nuts and M8 lock washers= no more snapped exhaust studs.

What he meant to say is that all 6 bolt motors have (x9) 8mm x 1.25 studs...

All 7 bolt motors (1st and 2ng gens) have (x7) 8mm x 1.25 and (x2) 10mm x 1.25 studs.

BTW, FFWD has a good selection of replacement SS hardware that hold up better then the OE studs.
