I was driving my car earlier and all of the sudden I feel fluid on my pedals,I look down and there is coolant all over the floor how could this happen?

It's from your heater core. That's what the blower uses to feed heat to the inside of your car. It's a PITA to replace because most of the dash has to be removed.:( Good luck!

Your heater core is leaking.

It's a heat exchanger in the cab. Hot coolant runs though it from the engine and gets it hot. Then fans blow air past it and out your vents when you turn the heat on.

You might just be able to replace a hose, but worst case you will need a new heater core.

Ok so I have to replace the heater core, but can I still drive the car around right now?And why does it do it more when I really get on the throttle? Also thanks alot for the info!

defiantly your heater core same thing happen to me in my GST i drove around with mine leaking for about a week just need to keep watching the coolant.

When you step on the gas your engine spins faster and your water pump is connected to the crankshaft by a belt so the water pump spins faster too. This causes your coolant pressure to go up and spits more coolant on to your feet.

Man, you really shouldn't drive it like that cause eventually you might loose enough coolant to damage your engine. Since you are in Cali you may be able to do without heat for a while though, right? You could lift the hood and look near the firewall. You will see two coolant hoses about 1 inch in diameter running into the firewall. Those are the hoses going to and from the heater core. Just block them off or loop them around so that they don't run into the heater core. You won't have heat, but you won't have a leak either.;) The reason more comes out when you rev it is because the water pump moves more water (turns faster) at higher rpm's. Hope this helps a little. :)

So I did the loop thing and it worked really well! Thanks all for the help,I just replaced the head so I would have been pissed If I would have ruined that again. Now the only problem is when I took the old hoses off the fire wall I bent the metal pipes coming out of the firewall pretty bad.

The pipes in the firewall you bent are part of the head core assembly. Don't worry if you ruined them, you need to replace the entire unit. I wouldn't trust patching it since it's a PITA to do, why do it twice if the patch fails.

Good luck.
