Check your fuses under the hood and make sure you have a good connection on the terminals.

it's a little more in depth but have you tried unplugging your ecu and plugging it back it? worth a shot. double check your starter wire, make sure it isn't fried for some reason. if it's shutting off when you hit the starter it's possible the starter wire is grounding out good luck :thumb:

It was running fine and i just put the new lifter in and i took the negative terminal off and put it back on. Now my car wont start with good voltage. Doesn't click or anything:cry:

You put a new lifter in or a set of lifters or is that a typo? If it's a set of lifters I would try turning the motor over by hand to see if something else is wrong. It's possible the starter simply can't turn the motor over due to it being locked up for some reason. It sounds like it's tying to turn over if everything is turning off while you crank it. If the motor turns over by hand then look to the starter and battery power first.

nothing is locked up. i was driving it around and then decided to reset my ecu and when i put the negative terminal back on it doesn't do anything when turn the key to start. no noises. I have power to the starter and my battery is fine

Does your starter or relay click? This happened to me today when I just put my engine back in. Battery had power, starter was getting power. I could hear the starter or some kind of relay click, I remembered I still had my neutral safety switch still plugged in (worked fine). I unplugged it and it started right up. Maybe your neutral safety switch went bad somehow. Look under your dash, it's a little "pin" sticking out behind the clutch pedal. Try unplugging it and see if it cranks over then.

dude this happened to me try your startor celinoid conector and see if maybe sum how it came unplugged from harness also make sure grounds are tight

Check the terminals on your battery for corosion or a loose conection, might be something simple!:thumb:

for shits and giggles throw a new battery in it or hook it up to a charger and see what happens then, it could be your alternator is draining everything

When it happened to me, I found I had left one of the wires off the positive post of the battery. One of the wires isn't tied into the bundle and dropped down. I'm sure you've looked but the problem has to be something simple.

could this be my problem? what does this go to

I don't know what that's for, but you should get that fixed regardless. Never good to have bare wires not to mention a non working plug/sensor.
