no you do not.

You don't HAVE to, but on a 2g rasing boost with the stock BOV won't do much because it leaks past around 12-14 I believe.

ya it leaks alot and it is had to control because it leaks so much...

You don't have to but it is recommended if you want to up the boost. Get a 1g bov, they run pretty cheap.
