hey guys.

so after all the stupid idle sensors have been replaced, the IAC, the TPS, and redoing all the vacuum lines the idle is almost perfect!

except for the fact that i stripped the heck out of the idle screw in the throttle body. see the problem is the screw was old and i tightened the screw too much and couldnt get it to break free. now i have a flattened screw with no more edges still inside of the TB...

i know that there is a tool that drills into the stripped screw and slowly pulls the screw out, but i have no idea if that'll work because the hole obviously has some sort of vacuum running through it but will drilling into it cause me more issues than before?

how do you guys go about getting stupid screws like that out or way to remove it? and any idea what size will replace it?

thanks

~Kevin

This thread should help you: BISS removal.

An EZ-out/Screw extractor will probably work. JB weld on the end of a screwdriver might work as well.

Either way, replace it ONLY with another OEM BISS screw and a brand new O-ring.
