How hard it is to replace the water pump on a 1G TSi? Any links to a step by step guide on how to do it? Thanks. :thumb:

You can always purchase a Chilton's or Mitsubishi manual. or try this site

If I were you I would replace the balance and timing belt and everything else this procedure tells you to do. if you just replace the water pump and not change the t-belt while your at it, who knows it could possibly go out on you sooner or later and destroy an engine. i hope that helps you out.

It looks pretty difficult to do. I may just pay a shop to do it. How much would be reasonable for a job like this? Thanks for the help. :thumb:
