Replacing H.G.

Sup fellas! I will be replacing my head gasket very soon. I noticed there isn’t a tech article on how to do this so I am asking you guys for some tech tips and advice for the fastest and most simple way to go about this. I will have a whole documentation on this from start to finish with pics. Unless someone here has seen or knows where I can find a “how to” article.

Agree that this isn't extreme tech, however, I think what he was offering was to make a full write up & wanted tips on easiest way.

I would say get the haynes manual and follew the steps... it's not hard to do.

hey man, i just did it on my 91, and i followed the hynes manual. i have always used hynes, but after doing this i think there junk. it didnt go into detail, didnt have important pictures....put it this way, next time, i wont be openining my hynes for info. good luck tho whatever you use...

make sure u take the head to a machine shop and get it checked!!! this is very important on our aluminum head, i've done a headgasket only to redo it 1k later so make sure u take it to a m. shop. felpro is good too!
