Kitchener,
Anyone know where to find stock replacement fenders for 1G's cheap? The cheapest I have found are $115 each, plus shipping. I really hate body kits and all that "ricer" stuff, but I found these for $140 a pair and was wondering what general opinion on them would be on an otherwise stock car. Keep in mind I never plan to put a full kit on anything I own, it's just really a price thing.

Check in the junk yard, If you can not find them i would go with the fenders that you posted. they are probably the cleanest looking after market fenders. I also have them.

I'll check the junkyard, but unless these fenders I have are aftermarket oem replacements, the stock fenders are very thin, probably to save some weight I guess. I plan on painting my car eventually and it would suck to have them rot out on me again. The rest of the car is solid, minus front bumper and a few "dimples" and small dents that, no rust except a tiny bit of oxidization around the top of the windshield. I wonder if these fenders have been replaced in the past? Could any one let me know if there fenders seem flimsier than the rest of the car? Like, I could bend the crap out of them with my bare hands?

Watch ordering body kit stuff for 1g's as they all had different reliefs in the fenders for the various different types of plastic molding installed at the factory, especially Talons.

Thanks for the tip, I was aware of that though. My Talon has pretty much the entire lower half of the car covered with the moldings/sideskirts so any relief in the fender should be covered up regardless I think. I may have to use some ingenuity to figure how how to attach the moulding pieces to the fenders though. I still haven't decided which way I am going yet though, aftermarket or wrecking yard. I'm leaning towards aftermarket though. We'll see.
