I have to replace my camshafts, cam gears, pistons and rods, and i think valve springs. here are the list of things i thought i'd might get.

Wiseco pistons-429
Timing belt kit-179
Balance shaft belt-25
Balance belt tensioner pully-35
Eagle Rods-359
Crower Camshafts-499
Unorthodox SS pulley kit-339
Unorthodox ultra cam gears-386

Total=$2251.00, w/o tax or shipping i think.

Are the any other recomendations, should i be getting some thing else. will all those work together?? i knoe the timing belt and balance shaft and tensioner are good, but the other parts? good for there price?? please help im a newbie to this. It's all from slowboy.

more horsepower...
safer...
easier timing belt jobs in the future...
more oil pressure for bearings, squirters, lash adjusters (lifters)
less parts to buy

more vibrationn felt though (idle) specially with aftermarket cams

So am I good?? or do i need other parts? something that'll regulate the oil pressure. I knoe this is suppost to be advanced 4g63 tech and stuff, and thats why i posted it on here cuz you guys know alot and i want the best knowledge helping me.

are you doing the rebuild yourself?? Machine shop preping the block?
Changing compression??
There is no way to control the oil pressure (unless you change the output of the oil pump.

Half of the parts you mentioned you don't need, your simply upgrading...

well alright, i got my talon for free, and i have to replace those parts, and so i thought i mine as well upgrade since i have to replace riight??? and the block is being prepped, and about the compression not sure.

Having the head rebuild too? who told you you needed springs? Are do you just want to get them...get double springs, ss valves.

...and the bill just gets higher and higher... :thumb:

I'd suggest leaving the springs stock. They should be good for up to 8500 rpm easy. A stiffer spring will likely increase the chance of wearing down the cams. Besides, if you put some titanium retainers in there and some lighter weight stainless valves, then you're going to reduce the chance of valve float anyway.
