Ok guys im starting this thread cause the other one I had died out. This is the situation im in. Car was throwing codes on the CPS and the knock sensor. SO I replaced the CPS today and now the car is much louder and its idling very hard. Also replaced spark plugs gaped to 0.28 and replaced all the belts. Im not sure if it was the CPS making the car run like shit and now it sounds and runs the way it's supposed to or if I did something wrong while replacing the CPS. All I know is that the car at around 4K RPM sounds like waaay to loud like the engine is going to explode and the car is idling really hard. Im going to take a video tomorrow and post it after my camera charges. But if U guys have any ideas id be really grateful. :dsm:

By "CPS", you're referring to the Crank Position Sensor right? It's very possible that your timing marks aren't lined up correctly.

Reset ECU, and if problem does not go away. Take that CPS back and get another one... Just Tellem its broke and dont work at all..
And this time triple check your timing.

LOL, Yea to be a smarta$$ ;) replace that knock sensor.
No for real, you have 2 choices, Get another CPS (your might be bad from the store) and or Retime that engine.

I would also start looking for Exhaust leaks. A miss timed engine can exagerate a exhaust leak dramaticly.

Yea im going to replace the knock sensor but the car didn't start acting funny until I replaced the CPS. Like the the car idles very hard like I have stuff in my glove box and I can hear it Jumping around. Also the engine and exhaust is a lot louder.
