Removing on/off switch with reverse indiglos?

Sup guys,

I want to eliminate the on/off switch that came with my reverse indiglos so that the indiglos automatically turn on when I turn on my headlights. Anyone ever done this or know how to do this?

currently they're installed but I need to hit the on/off switch everytime I turn on the headlights. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

When I wired mine in I just wired them into the parking lights wire. I belive it was green and white. But yours might be different. So that way as soon as I turn on my switch they are on. Hope that helps.

umm as long as the switch is always on the ON position and you wired them right, they should come on with the headlights/running lights.

unfortunately the damn things didnt come with a toggle switch where I can always leave it on. The switch it came with is more of a press switch. Where you have to press it on and off. So everytime I turn on the headlights I have to manually turn on the indiglo's which can be annoying after a while.

It depends on if the 12v wire is wired into a 12v source that is on when the lights are on. My advice is to find the wire that is energized with 12v when the light switch is turned to the on position, but not beforehand. Obviously the power wire to your headlights in your engine bay is one of these, but you can tap right off of the one from the combination switch in your steering column. Refer here for the diagram showing how this is wired. It's on page 167 (in the manual) I believe. Hope this helps.
