Removing muffler on car ramp

Has anyone removed their old caback exhaust system while their car was on a ramp? I'm trying to remove mine but I cant get the piping over that rear bar. I think I need a car lift so the muffler can drop all the way down without touching the ground, then I could angle out the remaining piping. Has anyone had this same problem? Has anyone removed their oem catback exhaust on a car ramp?

you got to get your car up high enough to swing it around without hitting the ground...

What about removing that back bar temporarily? is that the axle?? is that a good idea? I dont think it would be, but I dont know...

why are you removing it? will you be reusing it? if not then cut it.

You cant just jack the one side up higher?

I didnt have anything available to cut the steel pipping. Ultimately, i just drove it down the hill to a local mechanic, paid him 20 bucks to put it on a lift, and i removed it myself and put the new muffler on. There is NO way to remove a factory exhaust with a car ramp . thanks guys!

just jack the one side of the car up it will pull out that way

I had to jack the rear of my GS about 3ft off the ground before there was enough room to swing the muffler down and around.

Lots of blocks and patience- do NOT get under the car with it that high off the ground unless you have it blocked.
