hey guys I was wondering about relocating the maf on my 1G but through the lower end where the stock intercooler goes to get a cooler charge of air to the turbo now I switched to a 2G mas set-up and hacked my older one so that I could have the option of going back to 1G just in case so I have alot of wire left over. So what would you guys think of my idea?? Im worried about corrosion and weather related damage.. but does it sound like a good idea in dry weather :sneaky: so what do you guys think???

I beleive I have read about someone else trying something like that... it sounds like a good idea to me. I would probably have left the MAS in its stock location and just routed air up from down there up to the origianl location. Make sure you keep an eye on that filter, it will get worn out quicker. Also, as you mentioned, weather will be a bigger issue now that it is down there, you dont want that thing getting all wet!
