Hey guys I have a problem with 1 sides brake lights not working. Both parking lights work and the drivers side brake light works but not the passenger side brake light.
Let me tell you what has been done already in the attempt to solve the problem:
1. all fuses good
2. changed stoplamp relay
3. all new bulbs.
4. followed wires from bulbs all the way to fuse box and no shorts!
5. replaced the small taillight wiring harness that has the bulb sockets with it.
A few questions i have are:
Would my actual brake switch make only 1 taillight not work? is that possible.
Can my multi-function switch effect my brakelights?
Before i changed the small harness on the back of the taillight the parking light would come on, then go off when i applied brakes. Now that i got the new harness, when i brake that passenger side parking light will remain lit, but i still have no brake light on the one side.
