Well I picked up this 1996 TSi on Craigslist in January for $600 and just got going on it recently.

thats the picture from the past owner that he sent me when I emailed him about the car. It has a 14b turbo, a hard intake pipe, a J-pipe, and air fuel and boost gauges. So basic upgrades. He said that the engine spun a rod bearing.

I picked up a 95 Talon TSi a few weeks later with the plans on fixing it up but decided with the amount of frame rust it would be best to part it out.

This car has a good engine. So I stripped it down, got the engine on the stand and down to the long block then pulled the engine/trans out of the blue talon.

here is the Blue Talon waiting to have its engine pulled.

I took a bunch of pictures yesterday with my phone but left the cable for my phone to my computer at the shop. So when I get there today I will updated with the rest of the pictures.

Also swapped out the drivers seats so I have a nice one and no seat covers on the seats any more..

while I'm waiting on my Balance shaft block off kit, new timing components, and full gasket set I have these two cars to work on.
The first is a friends Stealth TT that I am finishing up a full engine rebuild.

then my 91 Firebird Formula that I am finishing up a 305 to 350 v8 swap.

I painted a lot of parts today and I'm gonna get the engine bay cleaned out and start cleaning off the transmission so everything is ready to go back in once my timing components and gaskets come in next week.

That's a pretty cool little shop you have. Are those Mitsu V6's easy to work on?
