Recalibrate boost gauge???

Ok so I just bought an autometer phantom boost gauge from a friend, went to show it to another friend and dropped it it was only on carpet but now it says I'm pushin ten psi of boost and it's not even hooked up... I was wondering if you can recalibrate it or fix it somehow... I'm pretty pissed seeing as I just got and never even got the chance to put it in my car Would greatly appreciate any help!!!!!!

I bought one from a guy who sold me alot of shitty parts and it was shitty too..Take it apart, and make sure u keep everything together. Theres two gears that control the needle. Just turn them back to the zero(which wont even take a 1/4 turn. I had to work mine back and forth to get it to work correctly

Do they always mess up when you drop them? dropped mine too didn't seem to affect it though.

Mine is an auto meter and has two bolts on either side that came with nuts one side turns it down, other side turns it up.

I set it to zero psi and hooked it up and its pretty close about +/- 1 psi.

no..I think mine was just old as hell and started to seize

I can't get mine apart...does anyone have a pic of the inside so I know what gears to adjust it with please

If its broken autometer will replace them under warranty, no receipt needed. I have had two go off calibration and they sent me new and more expensive models.

I was looking and I think autometers only have a year warranty

I got the AEM tru boost. It is electronic, controls and measures boost, and is under $300. If you want something really fancy, look at the turbo smart, which allows for programmable boost powerbands.
