So my trans is done with the performance rebuilt and so far i put about 80miles on it and im wondering how long does it take for the trans to break in? is it ok to go fast or do i have to drive the speed limit till it breaks in? i been goin up to 4000 rpms nothin more is that ok?

I was always under the assumption that unless you changed your gears, that there was no break-in procedure for rebuilt transmissions.

yea people are saying 2 go ahead and drive it however u like....but i did have the whole soft parts side of the transmission rebuilt and also had my torque converter rebuilt as well.
