Rebuilt Engine but car is slow (think its the turbo)

I just finished rebuilding my engine. My car doesnt have as much power as it did before it broke here is what happened.

Spun main bearings on crankshaft warped pistons etc the worse. so i rebuilt it. i added a underdrive pulley plus a high flow cat and tubular exhaust manifold. my turbo SCREAMS so loud when i drive now. i think i need a new turbo and that mine took a sh!t on me. the compression is fine and i know i rebuilt the engine properly. what could be the problem? i think i just need to replace the turbo. i know that it could screw up all my sensors n crap but the rebuilt was stock OEM spec just forged parts and the compnants are lighter. also my car eats fuel like crazy now! i never upgraded the fuel pump or injectors yet!

Is your car blowing any smoke? If you think it is your turbo take off your intake pipe and see if there is any shaft play.

That is definately a big problem. I'm suprised it's not smoking like a mofo...It would be a cause of a severe loss in power and the loud noise. I didn't notice a large decrease in gas mileage when mine went out, but I was taking it way easy and not boosting it.
