How hard is it to rebuild a turbo? Is it something I can do myself with a gasket kit from somewhere?

I would send it out. You are going to have to send it out anyway and have it spin balanced.

Where is a good place to sent them too? I myself might be getting a turbo kit for my car from a GS-T that was totaled but i think the kid said the turbo wont spool till 4 grand on the tac. Also what would it cost?

I bought a rebuilt kit on ebay for under 100 and emailed FP about what i need to send. They charged me $35 to balance the parts and they mark where you gotta line them back up. It's not hard at all to rebuild yourself, you just have to wait a week or 2 to send the parts out and get it back in to put together.
