Im thinking of building a motor for a first gen turbo . What block what head what pistons rods what is the best set up thanks

Err...what are your goals? There is only one block and head to use. That is the 4g63 with a 1g head. If you are building for a 1st gen. then use a 6 bolt block. Depending on your goal Eagle/Wiseco rod/piston combo from Slowboy is a great deal and will handle over 500hp.

There is no ''best'' part in this field. There are tons of different combinations/variations.. They all depend on what your goals and or plans are, With the car.

hello fellow virginian, do a valve job, put you in some nice eagle rods and wiseco pistons take out the balancing shafts, bolt it all back together and run the shits out of it. it will be one stout peace of machinery. Of course there are always bigger and better ways to go but hey i love wiseco and eagle. thats just me. do as you desire
