so one way or another the threads on the bolt of the upper control arm are screwd...twas hard gettin em off n not by my hand.

I mean whiteline camber correctors have already been pressed in so itd be nice to keep these control arms. Speaking of, my mechanic recommended taking sandpaper to the urethane camber correcting bushings to fit them in the frame slot. Is this common?
 
Sure if the bolt isn't too messed up you can run a die on it to clean up the threads.

Get yourself a nice tap and die set... well worth it. decent one is only around $200.
