okay so i have been having this problem on my 2g. The problem when i hit bumps a loud popping sound coming from the rear right side of my car. the things I have changed,The struts, rear bushings and the strut mounts. after all that I am still having the same problem.... now one thing i was confused when i put the springs back on the strut it did not need the spring compressor to me it looked like the spring was warn out. so this leads to my question. Could a warn out spring cause that popping sound.... any help would be good:confused:

Dude. Spelling and grammar needs work.

Whenever your suspension starts making loud pooping sounds, you're likely in some deep shit.

Are these the stock springs that you hear? Flush those turds down the drain and get some coilovers. I'll warn you though, if they're worn enough to make that sort of noise you might soon have other damages to the nether regions of your DSM.

Check out the DGR group buy going on.

P.S. -Don't forget to wipe.

changed the struts, strut mounts, and the bushing. Now I'm thinking it could be the coil springs

ROFL at the thread title.

Anyways, as stated, I would replace your struts. All four while youre at it, Because if one is pooping, the others arent far behind.

well dsmers after checking the hole rear i found a loose bolt. The for big bolts that hold the rear bumper down. there is only one holding the bumper. I guessing the old owner forgot. But im going to bolt it down and see what happend. will post some thanks fellas
