So my problem is that my rear driver side tire has been locking up while im driving. It will do a few rotations and then lock up for a second or two. The calipers, rotors and pads are all brand new. I'm not sure what else to look for. It locks up while driving in a straight line. The differential is moves freely. Also that tire moves freely when the car is up in the air. Any help would be appreciated.

Inspect the studs? Seriously?

OP: drive in circles in both directions; see if it happens more often in one direction. That would point to the diff.
