Hello I have a 95 Eagle Talon AWD. I just put in a rear diff. This diff is making the same sound as my old one did just before it locked up on me on the interstate. Can someone tell me why this one is whining? I need some help please.:(

Assuming you got a rear diff from a car with the same trans. (ie manual and autos have different ratios) If not that would be one mistake. Take it to a shop and have them check the lash between the ring and pinion. Maybe it's out of spec.
