really hard stutter when hard launching???

so i blew a head gasket and i took my 2G to a shop to get it replaced. while they were fixing it i had them replace out all of the belts. since ive gotten my car back i was trying to race a friend of mine and i realized i could NOT hardlaunch. the car will stutter and jerk really REALLY hard and rev up high but not go too much of anywhere. i know its not miss fire. does anyone think it has to do with the new belts or how they were put on? and how can i fix it

He never said he was street racing untill you said something , anyway sounds like you have a sprung hub clutch with bad springs sprung hub clutches don't like awd launches.

yea it was a closed course . i just want to know whats wrong with my car. because if the mechanic messed my car up i dont want to take it back to him to try and fix it

and i wasnt street racing and never have.

Did they replace the T belt? Could be jumped mechanical timing. How does it feel besides low rpms?

yea they did replace the t belt. and it feels fine in high rpms no stutters or anything. im going to take it to them and see if they can correct their mistake

Wheel hope is usually a combination of suspensiion and soft motor mounts. Solid mounts and some nice coils should fix the problem. And no it has nothing to do with your timming or other belts.

Wrong. Wheel hope is when you've just had an off and now you're parked and you're getting unharnessed to get out and go look at the damage and you're praying that you haven't bent one of your $1200 wheels. But I digress...
