Is there a chart or something anywhere that tells how to read boost in bars? I have a boost gauge problem and i'm going to get new gauges. I am thinking about Greddy, but I can't tell the difference between psi and bars. Thanks for any help.

Bars is a very conceptually easy way to read air pressure. Just know that normal atmospheric pressure is 1 bar (something around 14.7psi) and you're fine. But remember, some gauges might read overall boost or added boost (such as 20psi going into the engine may be read as 5.3psi on some gauges) So if you want +12psi of boost, you'll want about +.8 bar of boost.

How's about 20 - 22? Thanks for the help, bro. I'm dumb when it comes to these things. ;)

About +1.5 bars.

Oh, and the number is actually 1 bar = 14.5037738 psi. So that makes it +1.44 for 21psi, so I guess my estimate of +1.5 was good.

Why was I the only one who thought that he was talking about the LED bars like what they have in the GVR4's?

im bringin this back from the dead, and it may be a totally newb question, but i figured it'd fit here better than starting another thread. but im wondering how to convert the vacuum on this greddy gauge? it goes from like 0 to 500 to 736 wheres my idle supposed to be at? 20 vacuum or whatever
