ECMlink RCI 2200cc injectors wont start or idle correctly

    I have the injector delete plug and installed.

    Will I need to reset my crankingfueladj to stock? I was having a hardtime starting my car in the cold with E85. I know these will help me idle better compared to my 1050cc. I am still at cranking the car at least 3-5 times before it starts idling and have to keep it above 2k rpm for about a min so it does not die then idles fine afterwards.

    I have E85 and I tested it too. Throttle response: I push the throttle and it dies, but if I keeping bleeping the throttle or keep it at 4k it holds there but if I let go it stalls.
    I have an ISC. I know it should be around 30.
    Also I was looking over my settings last night and saw that my LoadScale was at 114.8% should it be at 100% for a 2.0L? So I changed it to 100%.

    Update: i changed my global to -50.0 it idled better but still idling differently then it use to be. Dont know what is going on?

    I had 1050cc before with no issues and now I installed 2200cc over the weekend and now hard starts and idles horrible and if I push the gas it would die/stall. Any help is appreciated.

    Sorry i can't help matt, i dont use e85 but my global dead time is 0 and my global fuel is -68.9 base fuel 43.5psi this is 94 pump gas settings

    Inj battery adjust is the same as the sheet spec provided by fic. Hope 2200s come with that.

    Reset fuel trims and try retuning the fuel and see what helps.

    Hey Kyle I was just wondering if you had starting issues with the 2150cc injectors you have? I thought you had a tread awhile back having starting/idling issues or maybe it was someone else. Just seeing if you did have those problems how did you fix it? :)

    I will reset everything on the fuel trims once I get a new fuel gauge and see if that helps.

    I had a tuner help me out, still has to start up 4 or 5 times in the cold before itll stay idling.

    Yea I have it right now installed. I did also ordered another liquid filled gauge.
    I think Marshall is the brand name

    Hey, its DrewJ. this was just brought to my attention as we were just discussing this on Ecmlink forums.

    When I get some free time, I can remote in to your laptop and check the tune myself. Since these injectors are 2nd hand, we don't know for sure how the original owner treated them, or if he let the injectors sit around with e85 in them (which can be bad). I may have you send them back so we can at least verify that the injectors are working as they should. (flow test/sonic cleaning).

    These injectors are so stupid easy to tune, you should not be having an issue at all. They will fire up and idle in seconds provided that everything else is 100% operational.

    Keep me informed, and let's try to figure this out. :)

    Awesome Thanks Drew! Could you PM me the cost of Flow test/Sonic Cleaning?
    I will let you know how everything goes by Monday. I will see if the FPR gauge is off or I will switch it out with a known good FPR.
    Yes I was assuming that these should be easy to dial in. And coming off 2nd hand with only 500 miles on them hoping its nothing serious.

    ok I think I got it to idle. i think there is still more fine tuning at the idle stage. What do you guys think?

    At the beginning of this I think my problem was a combination of a failing ISC and dirty injectors. So also do you see any problems with this log? Please see my injbatteryadj.

    Could i go forward with a cruise tune?
    Any help is appreciated.

    RCI came back with the results that one of the injectors were running at 2000cc and the rest were about 2100cc.
    After the testing all came back with about 2240cc.
    They did an awesome job.
