Hey guys just wondering about some 1200 cc injectors from RC Engineering.

Whats the difference in fitment between the PL9-1200 Peak & Hold Injector PL9-1200 and the PL4-1200D Peak & Hold Injector PL4-1200D (Denso style)

Is there a difference between fitment or something ? Is 1 better then the other ?

I know the PL4-1200D is listed as a Denso style injector. But does it really matter?

Does one use the factory injector clips and the other doesn't ?

Thanks.

So im guessing the PL4-1200 Bosch style wont work with the stock fuel rail of a 98 gst? I saw a set on ebay and it was the 1200 not the 1200D..

Ideas?

They will work if you turn down the shoulder

Just like making a Bosch/Ford/FIC 1600 fit

Thats what I thought.. hate to do that to a practically brand new injector.. Bought them from a guy asked if they would fit in a stock 98.. he said they came out of a 97.. guessing the 97had the diff. fuel rail...

Well, if you use the larger o-rings (ala Ford) you can drill out the rail.

would still have to modify the bottom of the injector as well... the lip will not fit correctly into the manifold... tahts the only bad thing about drilling out the raile.. still gotta modify the injector..

I was | | close to buying a kit before I even bought another DSM. The quality of work looks top notch but I'm not a fan of the looks at all. That was a great idea putting screen in there, should save you some touch-up paint.

Hey everyone. I have run FIC and RC Engineering. Both suck terrible. On high boost, both open up and leak fuel into the chamber. I prefer Bosch or Siemens. Stout Durable injectors.

The low impedance injectors suck for drivability anyway when you get into the larger flowing injectors. Reason I'm going high impedance.
