I would imagine the speaker sounds really punchy? Are you running a 4 ohm load? How many watts amp?

sorry dont mean to steal your shine i just dont wana post another thread but tell me what you think LOL thanks

It looks like the sound would be good since it is firing at the hatch. But as far as trhe looks go it's a little bland. I would throw down some plexi and L.E.D.'s. But that is just me. I'm not knocking it, it does look clean

It sound good and it is hook up to an old school punch 200ix amp. You can't expect too much from an 8" but yet still hits better than having just speaker components. I like it cause I don't have to worry about the rattle and still gives out enough bass for a good sound.

humm i am thinking about doing this one but im not much on making things so ill probly go to my local audio shop and have it done ill keep you posted with it when i get it done.

The 8" side panel is done by me as a custom... But going to the shop will charge you an arm and a leg for any custom fiberglass work. If you know how to work with fiberglass it shouldn't be soo hard. This took me about 2 days. Thanks.

looks good... If covering the whole trunk like that I would fiberglass it to the spare tires and show off the amps on the side or something.n The reason is cause it's plain and the trunk is out of space.

i have a friend that can do it on the side but im not any good with fiber glass however my ex husband is really good with it and i can do a thing or two with it i have some fleece and some of the fiber glass stuff i can get my dad to measure and make a small box to fit on both sides and i can try it .. but im not to sure what im doing with it but i need to learn sometime...I dont like being a damsel in distress...

I made a bracket on the right side and use a longer bolt to secure it. It's where you take the side molding off. There's a screw on top of the cover panel. Took out the panel to replace it and use that bracket to go behind the side molding.
