Im not sure what this wire is for. From reading other threads i would think it is the Oil pressure sensor but i have oil pressure reading on my gauge. Its hanging out of the group of wires that also go to my alternator and power steering. IT looks like it used to plug into a piece of metal screwed in on the front of where the oil filter screws on. Ill try to get a pic up soon but if anyone knows let me know please and thank you.

i think i accidently broke it when changing my alternator.

Its hard to see in the pic but if it is the dummy light for the oil pressure you can check it by having someone in the car with the key on and ground it to anything and if the oil light comes on then it needs to go on that little sender unit pointing towards the front on the OFH. Huge run on sentence I know LOL

my light isnt on. Another problem im having is sometimes my car likes to idle at 1500 rpms and soemtimes its as bad as 2000.

no my horn doesnt work. it goes off with the alarm though.

For the idle problem. Im thinking it could be this. I have 2 15" rockford fosgate hx2 series 1 siliconed subwookers with a 4000 watt amp. I have no cap. It seems like when i bump it continously it will start wanting to idle higher and higher. It was actually idling at 3000 rpms when i got back from drill.

Rigs i appeciate the pic btw. It is the dummy light. The housing tab is broke off of the screw.

Another crazy thing that had happened to me last month was my battery blew up then my alternator took a s*it on me a couple days later. I think the system is to strong for it?

Good reference, Rigs. Glad the question was answered.

twizdt, please don't reply and bump your own threads. Since your original question was answered, it would probably be better for you to create a new thread, but I'm sure a simple search will help you out as well. If you're having batteries and alternators blow up on you, alongside the fact that you have a bumpin' system - I'll have to be inclined to agree that your system probably is putting too much power out for the stock charging system. I'm no expert, though.

Big stereo+stock alternator=bad voltage regulator. My cousin went through 10+ parts store alts before he got one that lasted.

Take it to a shop that specializes in rebuilding alternators and have them rewind it for higher amperage. I doubt you have an actual 4kw RMS
