OK.
here is a detail of the problem

sitting at idle, or driving cruise or decelleration, never at accelleration
the guage faces will flicker i hear a loud CLICK from the center console area, and rpm and VAc pressure will drop, vac drops to 10 at idle, and the check engine light comes on, and instantly, rpm, vac goes back to normal, 4 seconds later, cel goes off.

just to happen again. at random intervals

also, while driving and this occurs, you can feel a slight jerk in the engine.
the CEL leaves No codes.
and i swear i can hear a Tone chance in the wal190

yesterday I installed and rewired a 190. could this be related?
battery is at 12.3 - 8 volts at idle.

Have possibly 75 miles on the 190 install with no problems.

Log3 is a log if idle in the driveway, (no clicks during log)

No, its a remanufactured ecu,

I think i have a bad connection on my rewire install, mabye? and its dropping voltage, and pulling a solenoid in the center console?

Sounds like the ECU or the vehicle as a whole is losing power very breifly, gauges drop, A bunch of clicking, Check engine light with no code.
Justification behind thoughts:
--Sounds like the CEL is part of the bulb check seen at initial Key-on
--Relays/computer clicking at loss and return of power to relay/computer
--guages drop same as at key off
D

That is what i was leaning towards.

I should go back over all my Connections for the 190 rewire and double check them for a bad connection.

this would explain why it will not cutout on acceleration.
battery voltage is sticking 12.4 - 8 at idle. which is low.

Exactly, sounds like the ECU is rebooting.
Check the make sure power to the MPI relay is solid and the relay is good.
Check to make sure the ignition switch lead to the ECU doesn't drop out.

The only thing that has changed in the past 2 days, is the fuel pump rewire.
there were a few instances where the twisted wire going into the connector was too big, and 3-4 single wires got shoved back, im thinking one of these wires has worked its self into a position to ground out?

its 6 am, i leave in 20 minutes for work, ill check it now.
and let you know.

fixed.

my boy whos job was to put the battery cables back on, bolted down 2 of the 3, and left the 3rd laying ontop of the post.... wtf, lOL

I will admit.... There are times where I even suprise myself, with my unbelievable ninja prowess. Even though I have mastered many of the unknown arts. and even as it just so happends that I am the ultimate in ultimately ultamate things, this was no act of dark powerfuel ultimate superskillz which i alone posses.

the terminal was infact, suprisingly laying on top. Had I severed the bolt with a judo chop? spinneroonied so fast, the resulting whirlwind unscrewed the nut, the terminal poped off, and the following turn of a million heads in my direction sent a spin of air and tightened itback down? possibly,

but how can we blame such an incident on the legendary lordpaxin ninja ?

This translates as follows:

I will admit that I cannot spell. There are a few times where I even suprise myself, with my unbelievable inability to spell powers correctly. Even though I have mastered many of the unknown arts, the english language is still my greatest foe. Though I ultimately cannot spell "ultimate" correct more than once even though I have already typed it in this same sentence.... does this not mean that spelling skills still evade me? No act of dark power-fuel (it's also known as 87 octane for you turbo guys) can defeat me.

The terminal had indeed "Poped" off. In laymens terms that's kinda like being "Kinged" in checkers or Ordained in to the Priesthood. Could the millions of heads turning simply be only a few shaking their heads back and forth in dis-beleif? Possibly.

Alas, however, we do not blame the powerful, wise, and nimble Lordpaxin Ninja for his discretions against the English language. For when the world stops turning, the winds stop blowing, and the last rain drop has fallen we know that the legendary Lordpaxin was able to defeat this most dredded enemy of the DSM community....

But of what foe do I speak of??? We know the answer for we have ALL come face to face with this most menacing of menaces... I speak of Brutus, Judas, The Friend.
:D
