The lip actually helps with downforce, the reason i say this is because i just purchased it a couple days ago and its made out of pollyurathane , i usto have the other lip from REdsm but i had to keep on repairing it, (its a great lip though, just not as durable)

i like the way the 2nd one looked way better though,

did you order the lip from ebay?...congrats!

i just attached mine with double sided emblem tape and riveted it for that "jdm" look(LOL) in the front and used black screws in the fender well area. ill post some pics soon.

hope you like it when you get it. you'll notice that its very flexible.

How hard was to install the lip?

i used double sided 3M tape on the part that wrapped around the stock bumper..then i riveted areas as seen in my pics (in my gallery) and used black screws w/washers(Autozone) to secure the lip to the bumper(in the fender well area.

ill post pics soon of my install...

the lip is VERY flexible and durable so mounting it wont be a problem. i recommend a buddy help out with installing it...or duct tape. you want to line everything up first before permanently mounting it.
