Hey.

Well, my car is not over heating or anything. I checked all the fluids and everything looks good. The water is circulating fine as well. But the raditor hose tends to inflate and get really big when i drive the car. I was thinking maybe it is just old and needs to be replaced? what do u guys think?

Also, I was going to pick up a new hose. I wanted to get something silicone, not for the look but I hear they are better than OEM. I found a SAMCO kit and an OBX kit. They seem like the same thing except the OBX is about half the price.

Would I be fine purchasing either one? Or is there a dramatic difference?

Thanks in advance guys.

The ballooning hose is because its old, the rubber is degradating. You will likely end up with a split or burst hose here shortly.

Go with OEM hoses, they tend to last about 10 years or so which is more then most of us are going to need.

The OBX hose is a 2 ply silicone hose which is not very strong or resistant to ballooning.

The SAMCO hose is a 3 ply which is a bit stronger but I still wouldnt really suggest it unless you are going for the bling factor.

yea they will deffinetly go kaboom shortly you can also go with the greddy rediator hose for durability and bling. :sneaky:

Right on.

Thanks guys :thumb:

Yea, at this point I am only thinking about having the engine running good. Looks are def. secondary.

I was looking at the Greddy but for that price, ill def. have to pass even though they do look nice.
