New radiator hose question

I just purchased a brand new upper radiator hose from a local parts store. It's about an inch longer than the stock one. When installed, it bends in that extra inch. The car runs fine and fluid is making its away through it. Should I be concerned about this? Should I just cut it to be the same size as factory? It's supposed to be an OEM replacement.

just get out a hacksaw and cut it a bit.

Ya I only need an inch off total, not per side.

just cut an inch off one side or the other or cut half an inch off each side
