where can i get new radiator hose

okay might as well change all the hoses on my car. I found a leak under my car today seems like a small coolant water dripping out from my lower radiator hose. I am curious where can I get my hand on a good quality hose for my upper and lower radiator hose. I already found a good kit of vacuum hoses at RRE Larson kit but I cant seem to find a radiator hose kit on my stock 97 gst radiator.

if your cool with stock black hose go to autozone. if you want coloured hoses (blue, red, ect) stay far away from the obx hoses. they have a tendency to want to split and crack easily/fast. But if you don't mind swapping hoses every 9-13 months go for it.

I'd stick with the "natural" original hose color. Just the fact that when adding a color to something it weakens the chemical bonding of the actual substance. If it's meant to be that color stay with that color. Just my opinion though. That's why they no longer make morter for brick work different color's, adding the color to the mortor weakened it's bonding strength and it falls apart way before the bricks did. That's comparing apple's to oranges though so take it as you will, just my opinion.

BTW how much you spend on the vacuum hoses from that website? I spent 5 bucks and some change for about 7 feet of new hose. Used a utility knife and cut to fit.

i didnt buy the hoses yet but they say it was 20$ but tax and shipment was about 27.50$

i gotta 6 bolt in 95. i use the same radiator hose for a 6 bolt or 7 bolt? or are they the same?

You can use a 2G upper radiator hose, but you will need to chop off the counterweight on your transmission shift shaft assembly and then you can either use a modified 2G lower, or you will have to do some trial and error fitting of non-vehicle specific ones.

I used a 2G lower and cut it in half, then installed a coolant temp sensor housing and utilized it as a pivot point to rotate the lower radiator hose to fit onto the 2G radiator. If you don't want to use a coolant temp sensor housing, you can use a hose splice coupler instead.

I used a 2G upper and 1G lower, no fitment issues here nor modification needed to the hose and/or counterweight. I have a 6 bolt in a 2G as well.

I got hoses at bennett auto. They have Goodyear and gates hoses. Pretty sweet. I would stay away from doing to much modification for hoses. Just my $.02

I'd stick with OEM. I have heard that SAMCO hoses are good, but a bit pricey.

I'm going to replace mine with mishimoto, they're not too expensive, but they should last longer than oem since they have a lifetime warranty

They are used to add an aftermarket coolant temperature gauge. Most gauges come with a sender, or recommend a specific part number.

Highly recommend buying a gates rad hose off of ebay. Mine is great, gates quality, only 15$ shipped.
