You do realize that if you do get into an accident and the insurance company finds out what you did, you could be screwd. What if you hit your head on the steering wheel? Do you think it is possible that insurance will not cover your head injuries because you had the bright idea of removing the airbag?
Looks like the gene pool needs skimming again![]()
Like I said SEATBELTS. If you arent wearing them yes you will crack your head against the steering wheel now if you were wearing your seat belts and you crack your head and you live to tell about it you will be a very rich person cause not only will you have a lawsuit either against Mitsubishi or the manufacturer of the seatbelt.
And regardless of the fact that you change your bulb to something that is illegal it is still illegal regardless of the fact of the level of it its still doesnt make it legal. You are comparing robbing something out of someones house verusus murder, no matter how you slice the 2 things its still in no way right. So if you are saying that it is ok to put illegal bulbs on you are going against everything you are preaching about. Like I said I do not disagree with the whole airbag thing being illegal to remove, I am with that 100% but like I said it is not the only thing in the car that can save your life.
First and formost it is your seatbelt that will keep you where you are.
Say if your car rolls over I dont think that the airbag in the steering wheel, no matter the situation will prevent you from flying out the windshield or from you flying up and hitting your head against the roof of your car. You have to agree with me on that.
So if you remove your seat belts I will feel the same way that you are feeling towards the whole airbag thing, because seat belts are your first line of safety.
NASCAR, Drag cars, D1 Drifter, road rallies. You notice that they do not remove there seat belts, but no airbags are present in those cars, like i said that they make up for it un other ways with the roll cage and helmets, but if airbags were so vital then they would have them in their cars as well. As well as older cars on the road, you dont see them having to equip there cars with airbags.
I am going to leave off at that. I am not going to comment on this steering wheel airbag issue. Everyone is entitled to their own opinions and no one can change there minds about it. I cant change your mind on the issue and you cant change mine. So let us leave it at that.
Lets atleast agree on this:
Airbags are illegal to remove from a car
-but-
airbags will not keep you from flying out of your windshield; seat belts are first and foremost the life saver.
So new knowledge is learned and traded
