Quick Vacume Hose question

Ok guys quick question. I have my engine out of the car right now, swapping all internals for evo 8 internals cuz i blew the engine. but anyways, my question is When you remove all the vacume lines from the throttle body, do you have to completly remove them and cap off whatever they connect to? or can you simply cap off the throttle body and leave the wires unplugged but out of site??

Cap off the throttle body lines and leave what they are connected to un capped.
