quick ofset question

i am lowering and buying new rims and tires for my car and i am wondering if these rims im looking at that ar 17x7 with 40mm ofset will fit on my car or wil they look bad? they might be 17x7.5 but i know the ofset is 40mm. im using a prokit if that matters thx

You know the offset info, but not width? Weird. Find out for sure what offset and width they are. Which wheel is that?

You're using prokit? As in, Eibach Pro-Kit?

17x7.5 with +40mm offset, with 225/45/17 tires would be fine.

+48mm offset sounds too harsh. That's pushing it. Since I don't own a 2G, I'm not sure about offset that harsh, check around.
