Quick knock question

I've been logging the car for the first time a few days ago and noticed that at certain times I get a knock count of .4 degrees. Now people say 5 knock is ok, but is that 5.0 degrees or .5 degrees.

Also, once during my logs, I noticed only once that I was knocking 0.4 degrees during idle. Is this anything to keep an eye on?

are we talking knock log via dsmlink ?
u may have some fantom knock -
@ WOT - any knock should be adressed.

yes, i used dsmlink and its showing .4 degrees but not often. I'm sure ideally 0 would be good, but I thought there were some tolerable knock amounts.

But ya, is it 5 degrees or .5 degrees that is the max amount of knock you should see
