quick 2g mas question

I will be installing a 2g mas with 550's and afc within the next few weeks. For those of you with a 2g mas in a 1g car did you notice any difference in spoolup and sound? Also could you tell a noticable different on the top end? I still have the 14b if that matters.

You should notice a difference in both. Faster spool up and sound and top end. It flows liek 25% more air than the 1g MAF so the gains are pretty noticeable. With a 14b itll spool pretty fast.
