Questions on rim spacers

"Good catch" in more ways than one. Five years after selling my DSM, I can still remember the exact offsets and tire sizes that will clear the rear knuckle of a 2G, but I can't remember my anniversary ... and yet I'm still married.

ps. it's in June, right, honey?

That's impressive haha. Although yours were 2gb knuckles so you should have had more clearance than me. I think 265s (at least this brand) might fit with 2gb knuckles and no spacer. It would be interesting to find out.

Forgetting your anniversary is a no no...

For the OP though, I am pretty sure you can make them fit with a small spacer as I said before..no need for a huge spacer. Also have your fenders rolled and maybe pulled a little.

Test fitted the rear again today before I leave for three months.

Using 6mm of spacer washers, I had a very large amount of room between the tire and the upper knuckle. I wish it had been daylight to have been able to snap new photos. Only real for seeable issue will be the 1" of tire that goes past the wheel well... :) Flares here I come. I'll save this thread and update with photos in April.

My anniversary is in October... took me a few years to pinpoint the exact day could never remember if it was the 20th or 21st. I am now good to go tho.

dang that is close.......i wouldn't use spacers though...less threads for the lug to hold onto. just get a different rim with a bigger (or smaller, i can't remember which) offset.

Most kits "Ichiba" etc. come with longer lugs, or you can just pop in to the local O'reillys and pick up some longer ones.

Went with a billet 10mm spacer. Measured it was just under 8mm thickness.

It was weird, I had one rear fit nicely with no spacer and had about 3mm of clearance but the other side required a spacer to make it work.

Put the spacers on both sides. Just need to move some brackets for my new bumper and do a bunch or rust removal and she will be ready for paint.
