Hey all, got the car up on stands atm, here are some pics of what I found. It looks like im leaking coolant all over the tranny, is that what the turqoise color is? Looks like it may be coming from one of the main coolant lines (line with the radiator cap in it has another line directly below it that branches out to the passenger front side of the car, i found alittle of that green shit bubbled where the gasket is) Ideas?

Turbo seems fine, cant find any other markings on it other than "A/R 70" on the intake side. Minimal shaft play.

I included a pic of what looks like a busted vac cap? its on the intake plenum between the turbo and the MAF. Could this be a source of a boost leak?

Also, ive got a shit load of oil on the underside of the car, couldnt get a good picture but it looks like i drove through an oil puddle about 5 inches deep, i mean its ALL over the place. Ideas? (I think it could be the steering rack.. sigh)

It also looks like there is a sensor on the trans that isnt hooked up? can anyone confirm or deny?

Lastly, I put up a pic of what the underside of the turbo oil return line looks like, also put a pic of where the line connects to the block. There is alot more there than just 5-6 drops, that keep showing up on the ground. So crush washers and a new gasket?

Ive got the car up on stands right now, so feel free to reply so i have a better idea of what I should do now that I have it up there.

Ok ill put it like this. Instead seeing what mods are already done, which turbo would be best suited for a DD with my mods list? ive read about turbo compression maps and all that, but i dont understand them.. LOL.

Do you know how much water is in your coolant system??? The mess on the trans looks like mineral deposits from water. Looks like its more water then coolant in the system.

i personally like mhi turbos and fp. the hta68 is one of my favorites. its more than meets the eye. 16 housing but flows as much as a 50 trim, plus you dont have the turbo lag you would with a bigger turbo. little guy packs a big punch plus its dsm flange too

16g*

pricy but worth it. and i think all of new vacuum lines and what not are a great start. just do a little at a time and itll all piece itself together

haha yea, i had one for a little but i bought it on craigs list for 350 and i blew it up.. im runnin an ebay 16g right now but im saving for one of these. plus its nothing completely outragous. fairly stock look and very streetable and reliable too.

Well i swapped out the old coolant cap for a new one, re-circulated my BOV, and fixed the boost leak from the boost controller to the IC piping. So far the car runs great, the Idle is alittle off (goes between 700-800) but on her test run she held a solid 16psi all the way up to redline, so the boost issue is gone :) Also loving the mobile 1 Synthetic oil change, when i drained the old oil out it was pitch black LOL. Next week, Brake rotors and pads :D
