So i'm going to upgrade my exhaust soon and i'm trying to pick out a muffler.

My preference will be a magnaflow muffler because i want a lower deeper tone.

So far my choices are the following

http://www.magnaflow.com/02product/shopexd.asp?zone=main&id=791

and

http://www.magnaflow.com/02product/shopexd.asp?zone=main&id=796

Now they look the same but the major difference is one is a Single walled muffler and the other is a double.

Now that you know what i want can you explain the difference between the 2 and what would be the best for my application.

If anyone has these mufflers please post your experiences.

Thanks

Picking it up soon actually, i gotta get the bullet muffler off of my current set-up. It's a dejon exhaust, but i got pulled over for exhaust noise the other day. So i have to get something quieter, so an oval can magnaflow sounded pretty good.

The only difference is one has a single wall tip and the other is double wall tip. Look at the pics and you will see the difference. I personally run the single wall, second pic, and I am happy with it.

The single wall tip allows you to use the optional silencer that you can't use with the double wall tip. See the little hole on the bottom part of the tip on the single wall? That's what it's for. I have the 14828. I got it just so I would have the option of getting the silencer, but I've had it 3 years and haven't felt the need for it.
