Questions about logging, and what i need to do it.

Ok i've tried searching but have found nothing so far and my connection is too damn slow to keep on searching (i'm sure i would've found something eventually). But anyways.

I have a Palm OS emulator on my laptop. Is it possible to use this as a logger for my car? If it is, what kind of cable would i need to hook it up to the car and what other kind of software do i need to do the actual logging. I've never done this before and never seen it being done so i basically have no idea what i'm doing in terms of all this. Thanks for any help.

Yes it is possible to use it as a logger. You will need the obdI logger cable. Something similar to the link below ( http://cgi.ebay.com/Palm-Laptop-OBD...ryZ32094QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem ) plus the laptop adaptor. And MMCd from the other link below (http://mmcdlogger.sourceforge.net/).
