Questions about buying e85 used injectors?

Hey guys, so I'm on the quest for E85, looking for injectors, and on the ads I come across for some 1000cc injectors, they say "Never ran e85" or "E85 used" etc etc.

Is it because the possibly of they would be gummed up, and possible contamination from the fuel moving the sediment from the bottom of the tank? Or, the seals become excessively dry over a short period of time? I'm very curious. Thanks!

It's because E85 can (quickly) gum up injectors. Out here in corn country, we get pretty good stuff, so people go a while between either cleanings or switching to a gas tune for a few tanks. Near the coasts, you all more often get crap.
